- Served 22 years in the Army, starting in the Light Infantry which lasted for 14 months before I left and rejoined into the Royal Army Pay Corps where I remained until it was subsumed into the Adjutant General Corps (SPS). On leaving the army I became the office manager of the Officers' Pension Society which later became the Forces Pension Society. I spent 22 years there managing their accounts, payroll, magazine etc etc. So, a jack of all trades and master of none! Good with spreadsheets though.
